I put on my skates and took some lights out onto the ice for a client to make these images in a fun Sportrait session. I love these sessions and really enjoy when the athlete gets into it too. Shot with a Nikon Z9.

Baseball Sportraits /
I took some photos of a baseball game and then worked with the athlete after for some nice portraits. Here are a few of the images from the evening. Shot with a Nikon Z9 and Z6ii. A reflector was used for some fill light.
Sauce 2016 Team Photos /
I had the pleasure to photograph the Sauce 2016 team and here’s a sample from that shoot! They were the youngest team I’ve shot to-date, but there was no shortage of energy and a lot of fun for me included.
Boxing Portraits /
I met up with NABF and WBA Continental Americas Champ Mikenna Tansley (and her shiny new belts) here in Calgary following her big boxing win. Here are a few photos taken at Impact Boxing YYC.
Hockey Sportraits - Calgary Royals /
I took some photos of a new member of the Calgary Royals hockey team and here is a small sample from the shoot out on the ice. I used a fog machine and blue gels to create some of the photos. Most images involved 2-3 lights.
Volleyball Nations League - June-July 2022 /
I was the official photographer for Volleyball Nations League action during its stop in Calgary in late June and early July. A photoshoot and 16 matches over the course of seven days made for a fun event. Shot for Volleyball World / FIVB (Fédération Internationale de Volleyball) using a Nikon Z9.

I put on my skates and took my camera and lights onto the ice for these team and individual photos of Sauce Hockey 2012 here in Calgary. I also put a poster together for each player, combining individual portraits with the team photo, shown at the end of this post. Shot with a Nikon Z6II.
